Refund Policy
Donation Refund Policy
The Roshan Foundation has established a donation refund policy to ensure transparent and equitable processing of refund requests for donations, given the increasing prevalence of digital payments. We anticipate that all donors will exercise prudence and care when making donations. We also acknowledge that errors might occur in making donations or donors might choose to retract their contributions. The Roshan Foundation is committed to addressing refund requests and will undertake necessary measures to facilitate refunds. We may seek clarifications and reasons from the user and additionally, request documents as evidence for the donation.
Please be aware that the Roshan Foundation is not obligated to provide refunds and reserves the right to decline refund requests at its discretion, especially if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
For your refund request to be considered, it should include the following details:
– Date of Donation
– Donation Amount
– Donation Mode (e.g., Credit Card, Online Payment)
– Your request must reach the Roshan Foundation office within 7 (seven) days from the date of your donation:
– The date you made the donation online, electronically, or through other channels
– The date you handed over the cheque or demand draft to the Roshan Foundation or an authorized representative
– The date you dispatched the cheque or demand draft to the Roshan Foundation through alternative means
Please note that the refund process may take between 7 to 30 working days, depending on the promptness of information received from third-party entities such as Payment Gateways and Banks, involved in the transaction.
Thank you for your understanding and support of the Roshan Foundation’s initiatives. Your contribution is greatly valued.
